ISAF operates a high-temperature test facility for testing materials under jet wear stress at elevated temperatures. High temperatures and jet wear occur in e.g. hot gas fans, combustion plants, gas turbines, flue gas systems etc. With the facility at ISAF tests up to 800°C, particle sizes up to 600 µm and up to 120 m/s and angles between 20 and 90° can be performed.
